West Clermont reports cyber attack that resulted in $1.7 million net loss

CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — The West Clermont Local School District lost approximately $1.7 million in a cyber attack late last year, the district said in a release.

District officials said that while no personal information or student records were compromised, someone diverted multiple Automated Clearing House electronic payments to bank accounts not affiliated with the district in December 2023. Read More
